I have company, so let’s keep this short and sweet. And strangely diverse. Here are some new things I did in August:
- Solo weight training: For me this was a huge accomplishment. Boyface and I have done weight training/lifting on and off for the last year and a half or so, but I was always too afraid to do it without him. But while he was away this month, I did it (safely) and felt so accomplished after.
- Game Streaming: Yup, I streamed myself playing a game on Twitch, live! Granted it was a Sunday morning, meaning people here were probably sleeping in and people in Canada were in bed also, but I did it, and it was fun. Plan to do it whenever I can. Just need a better computer/access.
- #BoxofManyThings: So this is a random geeky international exchange I stumbled across on Twitter. The idea is to have low to no cost gift exchange (only shipping being a required cost), encouraging you to send your randomized geek recipient homemade things. If this sounds good to you, check it out on Twitter. It was super fun, and I would definitely do it again (whenever I have time to make things).
- Tours at Kungliga Slottet: For how long I’ve lived in Stockholm, and even having visited before moving here, I never did any of the palace tours. All three are included in one ticket, with a fourth added in summer: The Treasury, The Royal Apartments, The Tre Kronor Museum, and Gustav III’s Antiquities. Not the kind of thing I enjoy doing alone, so with guests visiting it was finally the chance to go. A long day, but pack full of some interesting things. Keep an eye out for a more detailed post about all the things soon!
Okay, there were a few more thing that keep coming to mind, but that would defy short and sweet. so let’s just say that a future post about further Stockholm adventures is coming soon! And I apparently forgot to take pictures of anything this month, so… enjoy the inside of the Royal Apartments!
