All the Things in April (Already!)

The start of April brings with it lots of new, very exciting things. Primarily it is the start of Camp NaNoWriMo, and as I’ve mentioned before I will be posting my project, Clarke’s Third Law, on Wattpad every week. The first part, sort of like a prologue, went up last week and today I have posted the first official chapter. This is the first part that has been written as past of NaNo, so while I made sure to give it a cursory read through and edit, it is still a work in progress. And if you haven’t seen yet, it is a science fiction serial story, which is new for me, but I absolutely love where it is going so far. I’ve also posted a sample of my newest book, The Cursed Prophecy, if you want to check that out.

Additionally the first episode of the Between the Pages podcast is up on SoundCloud! We talk about the first six chapters of Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare and kicking off Camp NaNoWriMo, and probably some tangents. We’re really excited about this and welcome everyone to join the discussion over on our Goodreads Group. New episodes go up on Mondays, and this week we will be reading and discussing chapters 7-14.

I’ve also already finished this month’s pick for Curious Endeavourances, The Winner’s Curse by Marie Rutkoski. It’s a very quick read that I am very eager to discuss already, so basically anyone looking for more excuses to read more things should check that out. It’s a monthly book club that has a live discussion on the last Sunday of the month, so if that sounds like something you’d be interested in you can also check out that Goodreads Group. As I said, I am very eager to discuss this book so if you’ve read it I will respond quite quickly to any thoughts or questions over in the forums.

And that’s been the first few days of April for me, lots of things just happening all the time. I suddenly find myself going to bed earlier (not that I necessarily sleep earlier) because I do so much during the day. It’s exhausting, but it’s definitely exciting. And now I have more writing to do!
